About The Position

SBMG is seeking talented individuals with a passion for their work and a well-rounded professional and personal life to join their team as Hospitality Live AV Professionals. This role involves creating project proposals, installing video and computer equipment, providing lighting setup, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction. The position requires overseeing AV project delivery, operating AV equipment, ensuring on-time completion, coordinating resources and budget, preparing room audits, and providing operation reports. Additional duties include completing software upgrades, developing service improvements, assisting with recruitment and training, managing client expectations, and representing SBMG professionally.

Responsibilities

Working with clients to create project proposals with accurate quotes
Installing video and computer equipment
Providing lighting setup
Troubleshooting issues and repairing equipment
Overseeing AV project delivery
Operating AV equipment as needed
Ensuring on-time completion of projects
Coordinating resources and budget
Preparing room audits to verify equipment operates at optimum levels
Providing operation reports and project updates as requested
Completing software upgrades
Developing methods to improve provided services or products
Assisting with employee recruitment and training
Answering client questions and managing their expectations
Representing SBMG in a high-level professional manner
Treating all guests, clients, employees, and staff with kindness and respect
Performing all duties as an SBMG AVT
Supporting the property and all existing properties as necessary
Supporting the client and all existing clients as necessary
Supporting sales at the property and area
Proactively ensuring high-quality service delivery while striving for continuous improvement
Setting up, operating, and striking all Audio, Video, Lighting, and any services SBMG offers
Using time wisely to learn and train on correct equipment operation
Teaching others the correct SBMG processes when necessary
Taking part in pre-conference meetings with clients prior to events
Participating in all property EO meetings
Creating event estimates for clients, including correct pricing on products/services
Being the on-site contact for the property for all events on the premises
Following protocols for AV products and services
Completing assigned AV event setup and teardown for events
Ensuring property inventories ship and return to correct locations
Planning and implementing event set ups, operations, and strikes of audio, video, lighting, and other meeting and event hardware
Recording event inventory usages with event software
Providing professional and courteous technical support to all customers
Providing solutions for presentation needs under high-pressure circumstances
Providing immediate response to requests for assistance to events in progress
Providing setup, calibration, and technical support for display devices, mounting systems, projectors, and video walls
Providing setup and operation of audio systems including music programming and speech reinforcement
Securing signed work orders and approval on any added equipment
Managing property storerooms by organizing and tracking inventory counts
Delivering the expected SBMG level of service
Performing all other duties as assigned
