About The Position

The USBC Hospitality Host is a part-time, seasonal role focused on creating a positive and engaging experience for guests. This position involves performing before large crowds, acting, public speaking, greeting guests, taking photographs with winners and contestants, and attending special events. The host will be responsible for providing information, promoting events and loyalty programs, and ensuring a fun and safe environment.

Requirements

Must have modeling and/or acting experience
Guest relations experience
Must possess strong interpersonal skills
Work in and around large crowds
Retain specific information in constantly changing situations
Must be able adhere to dress code and appearance standards
Must maintain a positive, fun and professional work attitude in all situations
Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift
Position requires the ability to perform complex tasks, simple reading and writing skills, coordination, the ability to analyze information, work with precision, follow instructions, meet time requirements, memorization skills, problem solving and use of independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols, perform complex tasks, simple reading, math and complex writing skills.
Requires the ability to maintain effective working relationships, instruct others, follow instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, memorize, problem solve, use independent judgment and decision-making skills.
Requires communicating in English.
Must have the ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming License

Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests.
Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English.
Need excellent interpersonal skills.
Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Entertainment industry experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Performance before large crowds, to include acting and public speaking
Greet and welcome guests on the Mezzanine level
Assist lost guests and escort them to their destination
Help with directions and information about the Casino, Restaurants and Hotel
Offer to take photos for guests in front of mining rig
Promote daily events and the Club Legacy card—explain its benefits and the new comp program
Greet guests on the Casino level
Take photographs with Jackpot winners and Special Promotion contestants
Participate as hosting agents for gaming tournaments and promotions
Appear and participate at special events both on and off property
Participate in photo shoots for property advertising and representation
Attend off-property Sales promotional trips
Awareness and notification of safety hazards, lost children and unattended minors or items
Other job-related duties as may be assigned
