About The Position

We are a CCRC situated on a beautiful 50-acre campus with warm and friendly staff. The Concierge will assist in designing and implementing a Concierge Program to provide boutique, personalized service and assistance to residents and their guests. The Concierge will manage and cultivate the program to enhance the experiences and exceed the expectations of our community members. This is an on-site position. Occasional after hours and weekend work may be required.

Requirements

  • PA Driver’s license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel and Adobe.
  • A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including being comfortable with public speaking.
  • Must have a pleasant and professional manner and work efficiently under stressful situations.
  • Demonstrate creative ability and enthusiasm.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Works independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Strong initiative and ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment both individually and within a team.
  • Willingness to do what it takes to complete projects with a dedication to quality and innovative thinking.
  • Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
  • Handles resident and employee correspondence and information in a confidential manner.
  • Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to effectively use and adapt to a variety of digital tools, software, and systems relevant to the role. Proficient in data entry, report generation and utilizing software to streamline workflows. This includes the ability to quickly learn new technologies, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and apply technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication. Ability to proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology for operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as coordinator of the resident engagement platform, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information and working with departments to correct any discrepancies
  • Act as a first point of contact for resident and guest queries
  • Contact appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve resident/guest problems
  • Understand all ancillary services and charges and build and update ancillary service fee tables within Full Count Point-of-Sale system
  • Ensure billing for ancillary services is accurate and timely.
  • Make reservations and bookings for various in-house activities and services including but not limited to: Shuttle Services, Home Services, Culinary Services, Spa Services, IT concierge services
  • Provide services including: Administrative Services, Accept and record UPS, Federal Express and other package deliveries for residents and staff, Guest suite reservations and check-in coordination, Stock and sell greeting cards
  • Build a network of local contacts to ensure high quality recommendations and enhance external service offerings including but not limited to: Ticket Reservations, Dinner Reservations at local restaurants, Limo Service, Pet Care, On-Site Automotive Services, Dry Cleaning, Tailor/Seamstress
  • Develop an enhanced Concierge program to offer exclusive and unique services to residents on a subscription or a la carte basis. Plan one-of-a-kind experiences for residents such as chef prepared dinners at-home, hot air balloon rides, private theater screenings, party planning for celebrations and special occasions, or personal cooking classes. Plan and book customized itineraries for daytrips or weekend get-aways. Host invitation only cocktail parties for Concierge Club members. Initiate conversations with club members to identify personal preferences in order to create personalized service.
  • Gather, summarize and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events. Develop a brochure of facility amenities available to residents’ guests.
  • Follow up service with personalized notes and surveys.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
