About The Position

The Hospitality Attendant welcomes and interacts with guests in the breakfast and lobby areas. The role is responsible for setting up, serving, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast bar, including preparing specified food items, replenishing food, and assisting guests with food service courteously and efficiently in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications. The attendant maintains quality and cleanliness standards, follows food-handling, safety, security, and house procedures, assists with scheduled inventories, and follows maintenance and cleaning schedules. The position also handles guest complaints to support guest satisfaction and performs other duties as assigned. The schedule is flexible and may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Requirements

At least one year of customer service experience.
Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers so they understand.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for the clientele.
Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome, greet, and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby areas.
Set up, serve, maintain, and break down the breakfast bar line.
Prepare specified food items and replenish food at the breakfast bar.
Assist in serving food to guests courteously and efficiently according to departmental quality standards and specifications.
Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain quality and cleanliness standards throughout daily assignments.
Follow house rules, safety rules, food-handling procedures, and security procedures.
Assist with inventories as scheduled.
Follow the maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned.
