About The Position

The Hospitality Attendant is responsible for maintaining standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments, observing all house and safety rules, food handling procedures, and security procedures. This role involves assisting with inventories, following maintenance and cleaning schedules, and performing other duties as assigned. The attendant will welcome, greet, and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area, and is responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line. This includes preparing specified food items, replenishing food, and assisting in serving food to guests courteously and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum one year customer service experience.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area.
• Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line.
• Prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food.
• Assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, courteously and efficiently in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, food handling procedures, and security procedures.
• Assist with inventories as scheduled.
• Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.
