Hospitalist - Beeville, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Hospitalist in Beeville, Texas, for a mobile wound-care practice serving post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians provide bedside wound management, conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, and typically visit 2–3 facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The practice offers full-time schedules of 4–5 weekdays per week, typically Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and part-time opportunities requiring at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound-care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
