National Wound Physician Group is hiring a geriatrician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. This is a mobile practice with real-time, point-of-care documentation using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities are available for a minimum of 3 days per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. The position includes paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship. W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week; the stated salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. This is a W-2 employment contract. Work visa sponsorship is not available.
