About The Position

Full-Time Hospitalist (Nocturnist) Physician Opportunity at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center in San Diego, California. Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking a dedicated physician to join their well-established hospitalist division. This role involves night shifts (7on/7off) from 8pm to 8am, with admitting responsibilities from 8pm to 4am, capped at 8 admissions. The physician will provide cross-coverage for approximately 30 patients on service. Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center is the most comprehensive medical center in the South Bay, offering a wide range of services including cardiac care, advanced cancer treatment, orthopedic surgery, and labor and delivery. The hospital utilizes the EPIC EMR system-wide, and the ICU is closed with intensivist coverage. This position emphasizes a true team approach to hospitalist care with a culture of collaboration.

Requirements

• Full-time Hospitalist (Nocturnist) Physician
• 7on/7off night shifts: 8pm-8am
• Admitting 8pm-4am – cap at 8 admissions
• Cross coverage on 30 patients on service
• EPIC EMR utilized system-wide
• Closed ICU – Intensivists run ICU, do procedures and provide 24/7 in-house coverage
• 2 Year Shareholder track
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible
