About The Position
Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, New York, is seeking a full-time hospitalist to join its busy and growing program. The role involves a balanced work schedule, specifically a 50% swing shift (12pm-12am) and 50% Nocturnist role (Nights 7pm-7am). The hospital is an 84-bed acute care not-for-profit community hospital with 24/7 hospitalist coverage, recently renovated operating rooms, a new emergency department, and modernized patient care areas. This position offers the opportunity to work with the family medicine residency program based at NDH. Northern Dutchess Hospital is part of Northwell Health, a twenty-eight-hospital system and multispecialty practice in the tri-state area. Rhinebeck is a strategically located town along the scenic Hudson River, offering a small-town setting with access to New York City culture, restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, and boating. The hospital seeks a hospitalist who desires to escape big city living while retaining access to top-rated amenities, housing, school systems, and prestigious colleges and universities.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Hospitalist experience
