About The Position

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Washington
  • Experience in hospitalist medicine or related clinical setting
  • Strong clinical skills and patient management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
  • Commitment to quality patient care and continuous professional development
  • Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
  • Board-certified
  • BLS and DEA required

Responsibilities

  • Manage the care of hospitalized patients from admission to discharge
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Collaborate with specialists and healthcare team members to optimize patient care
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in the medical record
  • Participate in daily rounds and case discussions with the team
  • Provide patient education and support to patients and their families
  • Stay current with medical best practices and treatments
  • Manage follow-up care and coordinate transitions of care
