About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Hospitalist for a position in Waldorf, MD. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. The position involves providing bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role includes paid training during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract with no work visa sponsorship available.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
