Hospitalist
About The Position
We are seeking a Hospitalist to provide coverage on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule. The role involves managing an average census of 10-12 patients per shift. Responsibilities include performing ICU duties such as vent management, intubation, and central line placement, with telehealth pulmonary/critical care backup available. The position also requires providing inpatient care for pediatric patients, including nursery Level II care and attendance at C-sections/high-risk deliveries. Duties encompass inpatient rounding and admissions, including newborn and pediatric assessments. Documentation and care coordination will be managed using the MediTech EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) required
- Licensed in SC
- BLS certification
- ATLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- EMR proficiency
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship preferred
- ICU experience preferred
- Pediatric inpatient experience preferred
- Local candidate preferred
Responsibilities
