About The Position

Overlake Medical Center is expanding its Hospitalist program and is seeking a board-certified/eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join their dedicated Hospitalist team. This is a .75 FTE position, equating to 124 shifts per year, primarily on the day shift. The role is supported by 10 in-house advanced practice providers for cross-cover calls and 24/7 in-house intensivists for a closed ICU who will respond to code blue situations. The Hospitalist will be responsible for Code Stroke and RRT calls, with Code Blue covered by ICU/ER physicians in-house. Overlake Clinics offers a comprehensive range of services, including primary care with same-day appointments and specialty clinics on Seattle's Eastside, all integrated with an electronic health record for seamless information flow. Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed, nonprofit regional medical center serving the Puget Sound region, employing nearly 3,000 people and with over 1,000 providers on its medical staff.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Internal or Family Medicine.
• Physician with a dedicated Hospitalist team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist services as part of a 30+ physician program.
• Work a .75 FTE schedule (124 shifts per year) primarily on the day shift.
• Collaborate with 10 in-house advanced practice providers for cross-cover calls.
• Work alongside 24/7 in-house intensivists in a closed ICU.
• Respond to code blue situations (covered by ICU/ER docs in-house).
• Be responsible for Code Stroke and RRT calls.
