Hospitalist (PRN) - Physician
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our Hospitalist team in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. This is a PRN position where you will join an established Hospitalist program with a dedicated Nocturnist team. You will cover a 12-bed open ICU with support from our Intensivist team, and will be responsible for nursing floor based rounding and running all codes. There are no procedures required for this role. You will also provide coverage for a regional location nearby the Bloomington-Normal area. This opportunity offers the potential for research and/or academic affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. The facility is a modern, state-of-the-art, 200-bed hospital that is a DNV-Certified Primary Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The role offers great consulting service support. Please note, this position does not qualify for a J1 waiver.
