About The Position
OSF Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for its hospitalist team in Dixon, Illinois. The position is 1.0 FTE and covers the mid-day swing shift at St. Katherine's Medical Center. Shifts are 12 hours. Standard hospitalist rates are $156.45 per hour for days and $197.62 per hour for nights.
Requirements
- Doctorate.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty or specialties.
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
