About The Position
Kent Hospital is hiring a Hospitalist Physician due to retirement and practice growth. The role offers a 50% day and 50% night schedule, with 15 shifts per month and 180 shifts per year across day, swing, and night shifts. The hospitalist will join a collaborative team of more than 25 physicians and 7 advanced practitioners. The position is 100% hospital-employed, with no locums, and the ICU is closed. Teaching and non-teaching opportunities are available, with unit-based rounding. Teaching teams include Brown University and New England College of Osteopathic Medicine residents and students in internal medicine, family medicine, and emergency medicine. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary, stipend, and quality bonus. The role offers a flexible schedule and a per diem rate for additional day or night shifts. An Ivy League faculty appointment is available. Kent Hospital is a 359-bed acute care hospital and a Healthgrades Top 250 Hospital, offering a broad spectrum of primary and acute care services.
