About The Position

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are seeking Hospitalists to join our established Hospitalist Division in Astoria, Oregon. This is an opportunity to provide hospitalist services at a Critical Access Hospital on the Oregon Coast while having an affiliation with the state of Oregon’s only academic medical center. It is a physician-led hospitalist program where person-centered care is prioritized, and the role emphasizes work-life balance with a 158 annual shift requirement. The average is 13.2, 12-hour shifts per month, including day and night shifts. Tele-intensivists are available for consultation on all ICU patients, and there is collaborative hospitalist division with daily APP coverage. CMH is a growing and financially strong organization.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License.
• DEA Certificate.
• ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist services at a Critical Access Hospital.
• Collaborate with Tele-intensivists for consultation on ICU patients.
• Work within a collaborative hospitalist division with daily APP coverage.
