About The Position

Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), a nationally recognized tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital, is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine team in Danville, Pennsylvania. As a hospitalist at GMC, you will practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment alongside specialists, advanced practitioners, residents, and interdisciplinary care teams dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. GMC serves as Geisinger's flagship academic medical center and offers the unique opportunity to combine inpatient medicine with teaching, quality improvement, and leadership development. This position works on a shift-based schedule and does not accrue PTO or CME days.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine
Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence

7on/7off block scheduling
Closed ICU model with dedicated intensivist support
