About The Position
This is a locum tenens position providing hospitalist coverage for Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital. The role involves managing a patient census of approximately 15 patients per shift during the day, or working independently at night. Responsibilities include collaborating with attending physicians, residents, and other advanced practice providers, responding to codes and rapid responses as the admitting provider, and performing admissions (8-12 per night on average) and managing boarders in the ICU.
