About The Position

Lehigh Valley Hospital in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, has a full-time opportunity for a BE/BC Nocturnist Physician to join its hospitalist team. The hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care in the hospital, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, conducting rounds, and planning for discharge. The physician follows established policies for maintaining and signing medical records, contributes to department goals, adheres to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards, and submits accurate and timely charges for professional services performed.

Requirements

• Be board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Strong inpatient skill set.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient internal medicine care in the hospital.
