About The Position

Join a full-time permanent MD Hospitalist position at a collaborative, physician-respected community-based facility. Enjoy flexible scheduling and excellent quality of life at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. Looking for 7-10 shifts per month with in-person coverage during 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weekend coverage is expected. The hospital supports a friendly working environment with an experienced nursing staff, strong case management, and a collegiate ED team.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience (REQUIRED).
• 1-2 years of hospitalist work or comparable inpatient adult medicine experience (REQUIRED).
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues (REQUIRED).
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a Vermont medical license (REQUIRED).
• DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications are necessary.
• NPDB check to be completed within 30 days of offer (REQUIRED).

Nice To Haves

• Ventilator management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage adult inpatient and observation population, averaging 15-20 patients per day.
• Respond to codes and rapid responses; ventilator management experience preferred.
• Support discharge processes with the assistance of a strong case management team.
• Collaborate effectively with an experienced NP during weekdays.
