About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is seeking to add a Part-time Hospitalist position to our team at our Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital location. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system. The practice setting is inpatient, and the role involves a team and partner approach with the same patient panel. The facility is a 541-bed hospital serving a population of approximately two million residents of Middle Tennessee, Southwestern Kentucky and Northern Alabama. It boasts the largest adult cardiac surgery and most comprehensive structural heart program in the region, as well as a comprehensive stroke center and an integrated referral network. Ascension Saint Thomas West is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
