Hospitalist - Advanced Practice Provider (Per Diem)
About The Position
Overlake Clinics is expanding its Hospitalist program and is seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join their dedicated Hospitalist team. In this position, you will be an essential part of their 24/7 onsite Hospitalist team. The primary focus is on providing exceptional care to hospitalist team patients. Responsibilities include performing admissions from the ED, developing treatment plans, creating notes, rounding, and discharging patients. No procedures are required. There is 24/7 in-house Physician Hospitalist support and 24/7 in-house Intensivists available.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current WA NP or PA license
- Current DEA
- Current ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Perform admissions from ED, including treatment plan development and note creation
- Rounding and discharging patients
