Hospitalist - Advanced Practice Provider (Per Diem)
About The Position
Overlake Clinics is expanding its Hospitalist program and seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) to join our dedicated Hospitalist team. In this position, you will be an essential part of our 24/7 onsite Hospitalist team, focused predominantly on the care of patients in our Short Stay (Observation) Unit. The primary focus is on providing exceptional care of Short Stay Unit patients. This includes performing admissions from the ED, developing treatment plans, creating notes, rounding, and discharging patients. No procedures are required. There is 24/7 in-house Physician Hospitalist support and 24/7 in-house Intensivists available.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current WA NP or PA license
- Current DEA
- Current ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care of Short Stay Unit patients
- Perform admissions from ED, including treatment plan development and note creation
- Rounding and discharging patients
