About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our growing Hospitalist Team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Dedicated team of APPs that collaborate with Hospitalist physicians to care for observation and inpatient hospital patients. 12-hour shifts Mostly day / evening (7a-7p) shift hours 4 weekend shifts per 4-week blocks 3 holidays per year
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing (ACNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant
- At least 2 years of APP experience required
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must satisfactorily complete all continuing education including NIH Stroke Scale certification regarding the care of acute stroke patients
