About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist to work swing shift and help meet the growing demand of our hospitalist program at Franciscan Health Crown Point. This is a high performing, well-respected group with a great culture of teamwork. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience with inpatient care and Internal Medicine, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to ensure delivery of the highest quality of patient care. Requirements

  • Master's Degree Required
  • Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification – Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association – Required
  • One to two years of experience with inpatient care and Internal Medicine.
  • Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Central line placement and intubation procedures experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work swing shift to meet the growing demand of the hospitalist program.
  • Provide inpatient care and Internal Medicine services.
  • Focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Display exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to ensure delivery of the highest quality of patient care.
  • Responsible for call from the floor and emergency department during shift.
  • Run codes.
  • Perform central line placement and intubation procedures (experience preferred).
