About The Position
ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider- Pediatric Hospitalist in Toledo, Ohio. This is an inpatient position providing services to pediatric patients requiring admission. The schedule is variable, with hours from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Holidays are required, and potential weekends may be required, but there is NO call required. The team consists of 10+ providers, with a patient volume of approximately 15 per day. This role is open to new graduates and requires Pediatric Acute Care certification for Nurse Practitioner applicants. Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who have completed advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse (RN) preparation. They play a vital role across ProMedica by providing a wide range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, long-term disease management, and promoting health and wellness. NPs can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, urgent care, long-term care facilities, and private practices, and may specialize in areas like family medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics.
Requirements
- Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
- State licensure(s) required in the state(s) where the Nurse Practitioner will work.
- Certificate of Authority to practice.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification and certification(s) applicable to your role.
- Pediatric Acute Care certification for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
