About The Position

Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a beautiful and new state-of-the-art facility. As a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, we serve up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units. We believe that caring, dedicated and valued staff provide exceptional patient care. Thank you for considering our Nursing Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator position as we continue our successful opening! The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for keeping the hospital units fully staffed, in order for personnel to properly care for the patients within the facility. The Staffing Coordinator manages the master scheduling software system, adjusting appropriately the staffing levels based on census fluctuations, call-ins and pre-planned leaves of absences to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. This position is a key contributor and a member of the Nursing Management Team, and reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Requirements

High School required
A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Staff Scheduling experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
