Starting salary of $82,000 and up Benefits: Medical; Dental; Vision 401k opportunity Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement Company paid benefits - life insurance, short and long-term disability Hospital Services Operations, Senior Specialist Summary: The Hospital Services Operations Sr. Specialist will support the development of new and enhancements of existing aspects of the Hospital Services program offering to new and existing customers throughout the client lifecycle. A heavy emphasis will be placed on process management, data, trends, and opportunity analysis to enhance business results and client value. Hospital Services Operations, Senior Specialist Major Responsibilities: Responsible for development and execution of enhanced account implementation process Manage new account implementations in collaboration with account management; develop metrics to measure hospital services implementation progress/success Work alongside the Hospital Services Operations Director to execute all defined initiatives Responsible for reviewing and approving data and QBR requests Develop and provide hospital services education support for Sales Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations and backend data; also, participate in preparation, analysis, and delivery of QBRs with Account Management Illustrate and document new or enhanced Hospital Services product conceptual ideas including market value analysis for presentation to the Hospital Services Advisory Board Direct cross-organizational activities on specific Hospital Services company initiatives (i.e. voluntary pricing, drug catalog inclusions, etc.) In collaboration with Account Management, identify and request enhancements to internal/external reporting or dashboards in conjunction with finance and analytics Provide general Hospital Services analytical support by utilizing self-service tools, including reviewing program trends and key metrics, ad-hoc reporting requests, and ensuring ongoing optimal performance is delivered to customers Monitor, research and remain current with industry for trends, opportunities, and competitive threats Develop positive, consultative, and collaborative internal and external (Hospital Services administrators, hospitals, and other stakeholders) relationships as a SME to assure Hospital Services program success Other duties as assigned Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years Hospital Services Operations experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once.
  • A track record of high collaboration and working in a matrix environment.
  • A deep understanding of the Hospital Services marketplace including the role of contract pharmacies and TPAs.
  • Experience and ability to manage, analyze and interpret claims data.
  • Experience with illustrating and finding data anomalies and actionable insights within complex data sets.
  • Strong critical thinker who makes balanced, insightful decisions using solutions-based thinking in problem solving, asking probing questions and looking for underlying issues.
  • Strong organizational, management, analytical and people skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and managing dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels.
  • Established with MS products, e.g., Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • The ability to understand and comply with all healthcare compliance guidelines and policies, business acumen.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to utilize moderate travel for required meetings and training.
  • Minimal travel required (20%).

  • Prior Hospital Service contract pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and execution of enhanced account implementation process
