About The Position

Daniels Health is looking for a Hospital Service Technician to join their team and help support their assigned hospital with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, supporting a mission that matters. The position requires 32-34 hours per week, offering flexibility. The technician will be responsible for working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. This includes inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, entering procedural spaces, and working around sensitive equipment and patients. The role involves lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day. Additionally, the technician will maintain inventory of containers, ensure areas are stocked and organized, use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks and communicate with the team, keep staging areas clean and orderly, and represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

  • Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
  • Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities
