About The Position

Daniels Health is looking for a Hospital Service Technician to join their team and help support assigned hospitals with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on medical waste management. The position requires 32-34 hours per week, offering flexibility. The role is based at St. Francis Downtown Hospital, St. Francis Downtown Cancer Center, and St. Francis Eastside Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Requirements

Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
Can-do attitude.
Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities

Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
