Hospital Service Technician (32-34 hours per week) - Greenville $500 SIGN-ON BONUS
About The Position
Daniels Health is looking for a Hospital Service Technician to join their team and help support their assigned hospital with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, supporting a mission that matters. The position requires 32-34 hours per week, offering flexibility. The technician will be responsible for working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation, inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, and representing Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
- A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
- A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
- Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
- Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
- Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
- Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
- Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
- Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
