About The Position

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Hospital Security Guard to join our Security Services team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, physicians, visitors, and hospital property. This role requires strong observation skills, sound judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. This position is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
