About The Position

Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard. What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths. As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc. This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization. Requirements

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security license
First aid certification required
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety hazards, security concerns, and suspicious activity.
Respond to security calls, emergencies, alarms, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment to ensure proper operation.
Perform access control duties, including verifying identification and controlling entry to secure areas.
Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and coordination with emergency services.
Prepare accurate daily reports, incident reports, and documentation of security activities.
Communicate effectively using radios, phones, email, and other security communication systems.
Provide assistance during incidents involving patients, visitors, staff, and emergency situations while maintaining professionalism.
Support investigations by gathering information and reporting security concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and follow all site privacy and safety requirements.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive interactions while de-escalating challenging situations.
Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, management, and law enforcement when required.
