About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a hospital assignment in the Black River Falls, WI area. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist seeking a consistent block schedule in a hospital setting while supporting daily pharmacy operations and patient care services. The assignment is for 12 weeks, with a schedule of 7 on / 7 off, working 10-hour shifts, Monday–Sunday during the scheduled work week, totaling 70 hours per pay period.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience required
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders
- Dispense medications and provide clinical pharmacy support
- Monitor medication therapies and ensure safe medication use
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff to optimize patient care
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
