Hospital Pharmacist - Full-Time Schedule - 13 Weeks
About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a hospital coverage assignment in the Cincinnati, OH area. This role will support daily pharmacy operations, clinical review, and medication management in an inpatient setting. This is a 13-week contract position with a standard 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts. The role involves order verification, clinical review, medication dispensing and distribution, medication therapy monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing, medication reconciliation, and collaboration with healthcare staff. Accurate documentation and compliance with pharmacy regulations are essential. The position is in a hospital inpatient setting and offers the opportunity to support both clinical and operational pharmacy functions.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Strong knowledge of medication safety, clinical dosing, and regulatory compliance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC preferred
