About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for an 8-week contract opportunity with a leading acute care hospital in Bakersfield, CA. This role involves reviewing and verifying medication orders, supporting inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical services, collaborating with healthcare staff, ensuring safe medication use and regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate pharmacy documentation. The position is for the night shift, with 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Active California Pharmacist License in good standing
- Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
- Epic experience within the last year required
- Cerner experience required
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders
- Support inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical services
