About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is actively seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a hospital coverage assignment in the Tulsa, OK area. This role is suitable for experienced clinical pharmacists or motivated early-career professionals looking to grow their inpatient skills. The position offers a collaborative inpatient environment, the chance to expand clinical experience, and a structured contract with competitive pay. The assignment is for a 13-week contract with a day shift schedule, working 3 days a week for 8-hour shifts, with no overnight or weekend requirements.
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree
- Inpatient experience is required
- Experience with EPIC or other pharmacy information systems is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities
- Order verification and clinical review of physician medication orders
- Medication dispensing, distribution, and inventory management
- Monitoring medication therapy for drug interactions, dosing accuracy, and safety
- Pharmacokinetic dosing support and clinical consultations
- Medication reconciliation and discharge counseling for patients
- Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
- Accurate documentation and compliance with pharmacy regulations
