About The Position

Provides expert pharmacy support within the emergency medicine setting, serving as a trusted clinical resource for healthcare teams and delivering professional, patient-focused care. Maintains current clinical knowledge through continuing education, professional literature review, and ongoing self-evaluation to support safe and effective medication management.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Program
• Wisconsin/Illinois Registered Pharmacist License or eligible
• Excellent interpretive/analytical skills for pharmaceutical applications
• Strong accuracy skills
• Computer experience

Nice To Haves

• Hospital Pharmacy experience or residency preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains professionalism and conducts self as a role model, serving as a resource for all health system partners.
• Is an expert staff pharmacist who relies on skills of comprehensive knowledge and experience.
• Maintains practice by ongoing professional literature review, continuing education and self-evaluation.
• Supervises technicians.
• Is involved in the recruitment and orientation process and provides performance feedback and input for performance evaluation purposes.
• May implement coaching, counseling, and corrective action when needed.
