This is a full-time position for a Hospital Float Pool RN, working 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts. A Float Pool Differential is available for the 2nd Shift. The role involves utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, documenting care, performing assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The RN will develop and execute patient care plans, participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance, and provide clinical guidance to other units. Critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience is essential, with appropriate escalation to the chain of command. The position also involves participation in the professional nursing continuum process and peer review.
