About The Position

This position provides internal and external custodial services for Riverview Psychiatric Center. The role involves delivering food carts, cleaning various hospital areas including patient bedrooms, dayrooms, dining areas, bathrooms, corridors, and program areas. Additional duties include shoveling, sanding, moving furniture, assisting patients with custodial tasks, and escorting contractors. This is a physically demanding position where employees may be exposed to patient behavior. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Experience demonstrating housekeeping skills.
Physical capacity to perform a variety of custodial tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide internal and external custodial services for the hospital.
Deliver food carts.
Clean residential and grounds areas including patient bedrooms, dayrooms, dining areas, bathrooms, corridors, and program areas.
Shovel and sand.
Move furniture.
Assist patients in learning general custodial tasks.
Escort contractors to specific work locations.
