About The Position

Environment Control Spokane is hiring a Hospital Cleaning Team Member to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hospital environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. The position pays $18.75 per hour to start and follows an evening schedule Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to midnight. Paid training and cleaning supplies are provided; applicable travel time is paid at the regular hourly rate. Cleaning experience is not required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Environment Control Spokane is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a working smartphone.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and standing.
• Be able to read and follow basic work instructions in English (Intermediate – Level 2).
• Successfully complete a background check.
• Wear black scrub bottoms when assigned to the medical facility.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Be dependable, take pride in work, and be able to work independently as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is welcome but not required.
• Cleaning experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and clean floors and surfaces.
• Clean and restock bathrooms.
• Empty trash and sanitize high-touch areas.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Notify a supervisor when supplies are running low or issues need attention.
