Hospital Attendant - Equipment Transporter - Full Time Evening Shift (3:00 PM -11:30 PM)
About The Position
This position is responsible for transporting equipment, materials, computer printouts, and specimens throughout the hospital in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a courteous customer service attitude. The role involves locating equipment for inventory replenishment, delivering orders, washing equipment, and performing daily scheduled runs for reports, supplies, and medical records. The attendant is also responsible for ensuring services are performed efficiently, responding to service issues, and taking appropriate action. Additionally, the role may involve manually operating the equipment elevator.
Requirements
- Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor.

Responsibilities
- Transport equipment and materials/computer printouts and specimens to all areas of the hospital in the most timely and efficient manner.
- Locate equipment during retrieval runs to replenish inventory.
- Delivery Lawson orders.
- Wash equipment in the equipment washing area of Transport Services.
- Perform daily scheduled runs for the delivery of computerized reports, supplies and Medical Records.
- Ensure that all services are being performed efficiently and acts as the responsible party to respond to service issues and take appropriate remedial action.
- Manually run equipment elevator.
