About The Position

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital, a joint venture between Universal Health Services, Inc. and HonorHealth, is a 120-bed behavioral health hospital serving Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. The Hospital Administration Intern will observe departments throughout the facility and partner with leadership stakeholders to understand hospital functions. Working closely with Senior Leadership, the intern will learn about hospital workflows, processes, objectives, and the day-to-day operations of a behavioral health hospital. The internship provides practical exposure and experience intended to support a future career in healthcare administration, with the possibility of further opportunities with UHS after graduation. This is a paid internship conducted on-site at Via Linda Behavioral Hospital.

Requirements

• Must be a first-year MBA student.
• Must be available full-time through the summer of 2027.
• Must have a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or be able to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of healthcare administration and behavioral health functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe departments throughout the facility.
