Any future workplace flexibility is at the discretion of Hospice of the North Coast and based on business needs. (evaluated after 90 days). POSITION SUMMARY: The Hospice Scheduling & Clinical Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing patient visit scheduling needs that fall outside of the primary RN case manager schedule. This position plays a key role in supporting the clinical team by ensuring timely nursing visits, assisting with staffing coverage, monitoring patient acuity, and helping maintain compliance with Medicare hospice regulations. The Scheduling & Clinical Operations Coordinator reviews daily and weekend call logs, coordinates follow-up care needs, schedules urgent and PRN nursing visits, and assists Clinical Managers with daily staffing adjustments due to call-outs, Paid Time Off (PTO), or changing patient needs. This position serves as a central point of communication between clinical staff, management, intake, and other departments to help ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
