Hospice RN, PRN
About The Position
Providence Hospice and Palliative Care, a division of Providence Life Services, is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered end-of-life care to patients and families in Homer Glen, Illinois, and surrounding suburbs. The position involves providing skilled nursing and case management, conducting initial assessments, and traveling to patients in their homes and care facilities. The role includes evening on-call duties and required weekend availability. Pay is $60–$95 per visit, depending on the visit type and whether it occurs on a weekday, weekend, or holiday. Training and meeting attendance are paid at $35 per hour. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.76 per mile.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- At least one year of RN experience; hospice or home health experience is preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Driver’s license in good standing.
- Reliable transportation.
- Evening on-call availability and weekend availability are required.
