About The Position

We are hiring a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice position providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. This role offers autonomy, meaningful patient relationships, and career growth. The position involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, responding to patient needs, supporting patients and families during weekends and crisis situations, applying clinical judgment, coordinating care, and maintaining EMR documentation. The role requires travel to patient homes within the assigned territory.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work.
Two years of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care.
Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Respond to patient needs by performing urgent assessments, managing symptoms and pain, and providing compassionate end-of-life support in real time.
Support and guide patients and families during weekends, and crisis situations, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and cared for throughout the hospice journey.
Apply strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to coordinate care needs, respond to changing patient conditions, and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation.
Work independently, but never alone.
Travel to patient homes within assigned territory.
