About The Position

Comfort Hospice is hiring a full-time Hospice RN to provide service throughout the Las Vegas Metro area on a Monday–Friday schedule. The RN serves as a trusted Case Manager, delivering care to patients in their homes and communities and guiding families through care decisions with comfort, dignity, and compassionate support. The role works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
Ability to work independently and a passion for making a real difference.

Nice To Haves

Hospice or home health experience preferred.
Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and/or PointCare/PCC experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete comprehensive assessments of patients and families to determine hospice needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, revising them as needed.
Provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, and manage symptoms.
Educate patients and families on care techniques, medications, and comfort measures.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate changes to physicians.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
Supervise hospice aides and delegate responsibilities appropriately.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
