About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for Hospice and Palliative Care of Martha's Vineyard in Tisbury, Massachusetts. This role involves providing compassionate hospice and palliative nursing care for patients in their homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities throughout Martha's Vineyard. The position requires completing comprehensive nursing assessments, developing individualized plans of care, and coordinating services with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice team members. The RN will educate patients and families on symptom management, disease progression, medications, and end-of-life care, while delivering comfort-focused nursing interventions and supporting patients and loved ones. Accurate documentation and collaboration within an experienced interdisciplinary hospice team are essential. Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum two years of hospice, oncology, home health, or closely related nursing experience.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and end-of-life care skills.
  • Ability to work independently throughout home and facility settings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered hospice care.
