Hospice Registered Nurse RN - Case Manager

Otterbein is a not-for-profit, faith-based ministry that is a national leader and innovator in retirement living communities and long-term care. Otterbein is seeking a Hospice RN, to assist in the growth of our Hospice ministry. Otterbein Hospice compliments already strong independent senior services, outpatient capabilities and clinical facilities at Otterbein. Hospice is a philosophy of care for those facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and caregivers. The focus of hospice care is to help patients experience peace, comfort, and quality of life while also offering support and services to their family and caregivers. Requirements
- Graduate of approved nursing program
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
- A minimum of 2 – 4 years’ direct patient care experience in hospice or home care
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for primary caseload.
- This position provides skilled professional nursing care to patients, their families and caregivers as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the Hospice Medicare Conditions of Participation, Ohio Hospice licensure laws and agency policies and procedures.
